EVENT:
Beginner: Attend a Basic course or class. Skill awareness and knowledge imparted. Potentially may get to actively participate in the skill. Participation is with an instructor or mentor. Mostly classroom style instruction.
About the Event:
This course is for women ages 18 years old and older.
The entirety of this course will take place in at the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex located at 3702 Moore Road, Jonesboro.
You will be coached on shooting techniques and learn to shoot from different positions. You will learn about different types of handguns, their components, and ammunition. This is a hands-on class, and part of this course will be held outdoors. Pistols and ammo will be provided but feel free to bring your own. All participants are encouraged to have a Hunter’s Education card. Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear a high neck t-shirt, and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes.
An hour and a half lunch break will be provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your lunch as cold storage can be provided.
