Jonesboro Unlimited has launched the Jonesboro Community Survey. This online survey is part of Jonesboro Unlimited’s second Momentum Jonesboro initiative.
First announced in 2016, Momentum Jonesboro is an aggressive approach to economic development in Jonesboro. It heightens and builds on the rich tradition of progress Jonesboro has enjoyed for many years.
As part of that aggressive new approach, Jonesboro Unlimited announced a goal of creating 2,500 direct new jobs in five years. A goal surpassed in just three years. To date, nearly 4,000 high-paying jobs have been created in Jonesboro in five key industries: advanced manufacturing, healthcare, agri-business, logistics, and professional services.
“Our strategic plan has served Jonesboro well.” said Mark Young, President and CEO of Jonesboro Unlimited, “Now that we are in the fifth year of our five-year plan, it’s time to determine new goals as part of our second Momentum Jonesboro initiative.”
Momentum Jonesboro will continue to build on the goals set in 2016 by creating jobs, providing skilled talent, and enhancing our community’s quality of life. As part of the construction of the new Momentum Jonesboro initiative, or Momentum Jonesboro 2.0, Jonesboro Unlimited is once again using an online survey to seek feedback from Jonesboro, Craighead County, and Poinsett County residents about issues and opportunities facing our community.
“This is a great opportunity for Jonesboro residents to have a voice in shaping the future of Jonesboro. The insight and opinions we will receive from this survey can help us craft a forward-leaning economic development plan for Jonesboro,” said Chris Barber, Chairman, Jonesboro Unlimited.
The Jonesboro Community Survey is live now at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Jonesboro. It is also available in Spanish.
Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey and then share it with friends, family and co-workers.
