The City of Jonesboro is excited to extend our gratitude to Junior Auxiliary for their generous donation of $100,000 to go towards a new park project in Northeast Jonesboro.  This is a fantastic example of how community partners can rally around their community to create new and exciting opportunities throughout the city.  This donation will be used as part of the match for the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership grant that the City recently submitted.  If awarded, the City will be able to build a park featuring trails, an adventure playground, multipurpose fields, disc golf and other fantastic outdoor amenities. Partnerships like this not only make grants competitive, but more importantly make the community a better place for all residents. Junior Auxiliary is an invaluable resource to Jonesboro, and we look forward to future collaborations with them.
